Stem cells can be administered to the patient through a variety of different methods depending on the treatment required for the patient’s physical condition. Patients may need 1 to 3 procedures. This will be discussed in detail with each individual patient during their consultation with the physician.
Intravenous (IV)
The safest and simplest method for delivering the stem cell throughout the body.
Intramuscular (IM)
The stem cells are injected directly into the muscle.
Intra-articular (IA)
The stem cells are injected directly into the affected joint. This method is commonly used for arthritis.
